@campaign.for.trut The Uhuru 3 were indicted by the U.S. government. The federal trial of the Uhuru 3 has begun. The egregious charges of being foreign agents don't bode well for the future of free speech and the radical Black movement. However, the movement will continue to struggle and resist these attacks on human rights. The process of jury selection on September 3rd, 2024, will mark the beginning of the federal trial of Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP); Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee (APSC); and Jesse Nevel, Chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM), together known as the Uhuru 3. The Uhuru 3 were indicted by the U.S. government in April 2023 on the absurd charges of being “agents of a foreign government.” Charges very similar to the indictment of W.E.B. Dubois, the internationally known Black scholar and human rights defender. Dubois was eighty-one at the time of his indictment as a supposed agent of the Soviet Union for his anti-nuclear and pro-peace advocacy. Omali Yeshitela is similarly eighty-one with an international standing as a human rights and anti-imperialist fighter for more than 60 years. The African Peoples’s Socialist Party and Uhuru Movement that he helped to found have been organizing and advocating for African people and colonized peoples for over 50 years. Ajamu Baraka, Chair of the Black Alliance for Peace’s (BAP) Coordinating Committee who will be an official observer of the trial states that: “It is only in the imagination of white supremacists that African people would need smart white people from Russia to guide our people and movement to oppose the U.S./EU/NATO proxy war against Russia and analyze and comment on all aspects of U.S. foreign policy. Internationalism has always been a core principle of our movement from the Garvey Movement and anti-fascist struggles of Africans in America and in Spain in the form of the Abraham Lincoln Brigades, as well as the International Friends of Ethiopia that opposed the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, to our support for the liberation movements in Cuba, Haiti, Africa, Central America, and Vietnam.

The assailant, a white woman, made monkey sounds and called Selma, Divina and Danae “Black bitches”, and “slaves”. The abuse escalated into physical violence. The attacker pulled clumps of hair off Selma and her friend and bit Selma’s flesh, leaving a deeply embedded imprint of her teeth which necessitated tetanus and hepatitis injections and antibiotics. An off-duty Metropolitan Detective Constable was present in the tube carriage but failed to intervene to de-escalate the incident. When the train arrived at King’s Cross station, the three women had to challenge the inactivity and apathy of the police to treat the matter seriously and arrest the assailant. Some months later, in a deeply shocking development, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) made the following charging decisions: No further action is to be taken against the assailant in relation to the assault. In relation to the assailant’s racist abuse, she has been offered and accepted a caution for racially aggravated conduct contrary to s4A of the Public Order Act, in relation to one instance of racist abuse which she has admitted. No further action is to be taken in relation to other instances of racist abuse by her during the incident. Selma, Divina and Danae have all been charged with common assault by beating. Danae has also been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence, in relation to alleged conduct towards a white British Transport police officer on the platform at King's Cross. Divina has also been charged with a public order offence, but without the racial aggravation, again in relation to alleged conduct towards the same police officer at the tube station after the attack. On Tuesday, 2nd July 2024, the CPS partially dropped the racist charges against the

@campaign.for.trut The New Cross house fire was a fire that occurred during a party at a house in New Cross, south-east London, in the early hours of Sunday, 18 January 1981. The blaze killed 13 young black people aged between 14 and 22, and one survivor killed himself two years later. No one has ever been charged in connection with the fire, which forensic science subsequently established started inside the house. Inquests into the deaths were held in 1981 and 2004. Both inquests recorded open verdicts. In the immediate aftermath of the fire, a New Cross Massacre Action Committee (NCMAC) was set up, chaired by John La Rose, which organised a "Black People's Day of Action" on 2 March 1981, when some 20,000 people marched over a period of eight hours through London, carrying placards that bore statements including: "13 Dead, Nothing Said".

False allegations were made against her, resulting in 4 serious criminal charges. She ended up being arrested in full view of the community shopping in Brixton, a great embarrassment and affront to her personal dignity and reputation. At the police station, she was subjected to a strip-search and left naked in the cell whilst male officers viewed her – adding further humiliation, and refused a phone call to a solicitor or friend. Court case due in February 2024. The attack against Sista Shevon is part of the systematic, institutional racist attack against our community. These parasitical traders’ attacks, supported and escalated by the police (state) is indicative of the general treatment of a colonised people by a colonial state. These parasitical traders in our community take our money and disrespect us, in particular our women. These attacks and abuses will not stop until we recognise we are a Nation and we must build and support our own Nation (business) building institutions. The African United Front is now formed. Our attempts at negotiating a solution with Nour Cash & Carry has been rejected. We demand: • Community boycott Nour Cash & Carry • A public apology and compensation for Sista Shevon • Drop the charges now • Support Black businesses • Charge Peckham trader for non-fatal strangulation • Brixton – Peckham – Africa. Campaign for Truth & Justice & Other AFRICAN diaspora communities protested against any French military intervention in Niger outside the country’s London embassy today. Activists from Niger, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali, Togo and their supporters denounced the “illegal military intervention to reinstate deposed President Mohamed Bazoum” following last month’s coup, in which the presidential guard seized power. France has denied allegations by the coup leaders that its forces have freed captured terrorists (French troops are based in Niger, supposedly as part of a regional mission against Islamist terror organisations). The coup has been condemned by the regional Ecowas organisation, which threatened military intervention to restore the elected president and whose leaders met again today to discuss the crisis. But it has mobilised large crowds in support in Niger’s capital Niamey, and backing from the military rulers of neighbouring Mali and Burkina Faso, which vowed to fight alongside Niger against any foreign intervention. The protest organised by the Diaspora Association of Niger Republic Nationals in the United Kingdom (Darn-UK), The African Patriots of Senegal for Work, Ethics and Fraternity London (Pastef) and other Pan-Africanist groups said the movement in the Sahel seeks to liberate the African region from “French exploitation” amid calls for a “free Africa.” Darn-UK president Abdoul Kader Amadou Mossi said the people of Niger staged a protest to show their full support to the military regime last Friday, adding: “The international community must respect the will of the people of Niger, who shall decide its own direction. “We support the Nigerien people in their desire for sovereignty and independence. “Our message is very simple and clear: we are asking for all foreign military bases to leave our country as soon as possible.
